As of fall 2021, this is WashU Olin’s COVID cleaning protocols for our four buildings. Our facilities services teams and partners have done an outstanding job keeping our buildings clean and safe since the pandemic began. We are grateful for their commitment and service.  If you require additional services, please submit them via our Facilities Request form on the Olin General Services page.

Offices/Cubicles

  • Occupants to disinfect work surfaces/items and high touch areas before and after use with departmentally provided resources
  • Daily waste removal, or as needed
  • Offices cleaned by WFF (Simon) or FLIK (Knight/Bauer/Knight Center) semi-monthly:

  • Daily sanitizing of high touch surfaces (door handles, light switches, etc.)
  • Daily spot clean of all surfaces
  • Daily restocking of paper towels, soap, and hand sanitizer
  • Daily vacuuming, sweeping and mopping, or as needed
  • Occupants to disinfect shared surfaces/items and high touch areas before and after use with departmentally provided resources
