As of spring 2021, this is WashU Olin’s COVID cleaning protocols for our four buildings. Our facilities services teams and partners have done an outstanding job keeping our buildings clean and safe since the pandemic began. We are grateful for their commitment and service.  If you require additional services, please submit them via our Facilities Request form on the Olin General Services page.

Office suite open workspaces and kitchenettes

  • Daily waste disposal
  • Daily sanitizing of high touch surfaces (door handles, light switches, etc.), up to four times per 24 hours
  • Weekly vacuuming, or as needed
  • Occupants to place individual office waste bins outside office door as needed for daily pickup
  • Occupants to disinfect shared work surfaces/items and high touch areas before and after use with departmentally provided resources

Individual/faculty offices

  • Occupants to place individual office waste bins outside office door as needed for daily pickup

Lounges, kitchenettes, nursing rooms and shower rooms

  • Daily waste removal
  • Twice daily sanitizing of high touch surfaces (door handles, light switches, etc.)
  • Weekly vacuuming, or as needed
  • Occupants to disinfect shared surfaces/items and high touch areas before and after use with departmentally provided resources
